My name is Jess and I have a 10 year old dog named Bear. I'm not a veterinarian- just your average dog owner to a pup with a medical condition. Bear was diagnosed with ideopathic epilepsy. One day, he was perfectly healthy. The next day, his life was changed forever.

When Bear had his first seizure, it was one of the scariest things I've gone through. The road to understanding canine epilepsy has been a VERY long one. The first few months of his diagnosis, I did an incredible amount of research into the disease, how to help him, what he could/couldn't eat, resources, etc. My goal is to help other dog owners feel lost, just like I was.
